Black Mountain, a giant elephant, is considered untrainable and is soon to be destroyed! The only one who can go close to him is a young boy whose father is head of the elephant training camp where Black Mountain lives. Against his father's orders, the boy cares for Black Mountain, bringing him food and water. Black Mountain learns to love the boy and the two develop a deep friendship.
