AWAY FROM THE SIDEWALK is about women learning to be assertive and active participants in politics, and looks at Nigerian women's increasingly active role in political issues affecting their country's future. 'If you look at Nigerian society you will find that the Nigerian woman has made her mark on almost every aspect of life except politics.
