An artist from the Kuku and Erub/Mer people of Far North Queensland and Torres Strait, born in the 50s, Destiny Deacon’s movies/materials/living rooms/sets/installs are either more than (or just perfectly) the practice of expressing what’s described as ‘not-art’.
