Storyline & Synopsis

Left to his own devices, 16-year-old Alex finds himself on the freezing winter streets of Moscow, drowning in debt and facing legal trouble after his parents finally wash their hands of him and refuse to bail him out. Desperate for money and support, he wanders the night city, only to be met with the cold indifference of everyone he knows. His aimless wanderings lead him first to a shady apartment on the outskirts of town, and ultimately to a police station. Left with no protection, no family, and no roof over his head, Alex is forced to realize that his comfortable, secure life is over. Ahead lies nothing but absolute uncertainty and the biting cold of an uncaring city.
