Storyline & Synopsis

A person disappears in the forest. Haesu, the last one seen entering the woods with him, is brought into the interrogation room as the sole witness. Detective Kim questions her relentlessly, but her answers stay calm and logical, stripped of emotion. Her composure looks steady — yet something about her feels quietly off. "I only wanted to understand him. I wanted to save him." In the same forest where they last stood together, Haesu retraces the marks Jihoo left behind, trying to make sense of his actions, his silence. But her search for understanding curdles into something else — an obsession to change him, to save him. "I know everything about you, and I want to save you. But if you reject me, that's something I have to fix." Jihoo vanishes into the forest without answering her. silence of the woods, Haesu follows his trail to the end, arriving at a conclusion of her own — one she can never be sure is the truth, or a distortion of her own making.
