Storyline & Synopsis

Sitting around a campfire, three infantry veterans candidly talk about their experiences in Kandahar, Afghanistan. Integrating real helmet camera footage from their tour the film delivers an unforgettable insight into the warrior psyche by contrasting the here and there. Nearly 5 years since their return, they discuss the experience that has influenced them in a myriad of ways. They continue by trying to reason the motivation to join Canadian Armed Forces during a war, on what the war in the remote areas of Kandahar province was like, on how it has shaped their values, their decisions and the unique bond they share.
