Biography

Carla Turcotte made her film debut under the insightful direction of Rafaël Ouellet in New Denmark. She also appeared in Camion, L’affaire Dumont, Amsterdam, and Sashinka — a role that earned her a nomination for Best Actress at the 7th Canadian Screen Awards and a nomination for the Prix Iris for Best Actress at the 21st Gala du cinéma québécois. On television, she landed several roles, notably Marie-Jeanne in Les Sioui-Bacon and Johanne in Blue Moon . She also appeared in the series Tactik and 30 vies, and more recently in the final season of L’Auberge du chien noir as well as Unité 9. In the realm of web series, she was part of the cast of Féminin/féminin and 7 heures.
