Frey Lawler

Biography

Frey Lawler is a Composer who writes concert and film music, with extreme bias towards the Saxophone, Piccolo, and Xylophone. He works mainly with experimental director, Otho Fitzsimons, for film music. He has scored all three of Fitzsimons' short films so far with the most recent, 'Eden', completed in March 2026. He is also an ex-student & frequent collaborator of British New Music Composer, Matthew Lee Knowles, featuring on Knowles' Recording of 'For Michael Finnissy' and as a registrant in the performance of 'For Samuel Beckett' a 20 hour piece for organ by Knowles. Frey is currently completing his studies of composition at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama.
