Katrina Kaif

Biography

Katrina Kaif (born July 16, 1983) is a British actress who works predominantly in Hindi cinema. After working as a fashion model, she made her acting debut in *Boom* (2003) and appeared in the Telugu film *Malliswari* (2004). Her early Hindi releases included *Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya?* (2005), *Namastey London* (2007), *Partner* (2007), and *Welcome* (2007). Kaif earned a nomination for the Filmfare Award for Best Actress for the thriller *New York* (2009). Her subsequent releases included *Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani* (2009), the political drama *Raajneeti* (2010), *Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara* (2011), and *Mere Brother Ki Dulhan* (2011), which earned her a second Filmfare Award nomination for Best Actress. In 2012, she starred in the action thriller *Ek Tha Tiger* and *Jab Tak Hai Jaan*, followed by *Dhoom 3* (2013), *Bang Bang!* (2014), and *Tiger Zinda Hai* (2017). For her supporting performance in *Zero* (2018), Kaif was nominated for the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress. Her subsequent credits included *Bharat* (2019), *Sooryavanshi* (2021), *Phone Bhoot* (2022), *Tiger 3* (2023), and the mystery thriller *Merry Christmas* (2024).
