Lance De Guzman

Biography

Lance De Guzman is a Filipino-American filmmaker based in Austin, Texas. After moving to the United States at 12 years old, he began making films in his late teens inspired and motivated by his immigrant experience growing up in Florida. For college he would move to Texas where Lance began developing his voice through hands-on experience and a deep appreciation for world cinema and the films of Steven Spielberg. His recent projects include narrative shorts that experiment with dialogue-free storytelling and analog formats like Super 8 and Super16.
