Biography
Nasima Banitaba (born in 1998, Tehran, Iran) is an Iranian filmmaker and visual artist. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Azad University, South Tehran Branch. She began her cinematic journey in 2020 as an assistant director and actress in the short film Harpy, directed by Maryam Banitaba. In 2025, she directed her first short film, Theatre Hall First Floor, followed by her experimental video art I Can’t Escape.
