Biography

Stephen Blake Woltz is an American professional wrestler best known as “Hangman” Adam Page. Known for his cowboy-inspired persona and emotional storytelling, he has become one of the defining stars of All Elite Wrestling (AEW). Beginning his career in 2008, Woltz gained wider recognition in Ring of Honor, where he joined Bullet Club in 2016 and became associated with The Elite. He also competed regularly in New Japan Pro-Wrestling, including the 2018 G1 Climax, before joining Kenny Omega, Cody Rhodes, and The Young Bucks in launching AEW in 2019. In AEW, Page won the World Tag Team Championship with Omega before defeating him for the AEW World Championship at Full Gear in 2021. He captured the title for a second time by defeating Jon Moxley at All In: Texas in 2025, and became the second AEW Triple Crown winner in 2026 after winning the World Trios Championship with JetSpeed as Jet Set Rodeo. His career has also earned significant critical recognition, with Page ranking No. 4 in the PWI 500 in 2022 and 2025. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter named him Best Brawler in 2024 and Best on Interviews in 2025, while his rivalries with Kenny Omega and Jon Moxley won Feud of the Year in 2021 and 2025, respectively. His 2020 tag team match with Omega against The Young Bucks was named Match of the Year by both PWI and the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
