Xavier Lacasse

Biography

Xavier Lacasse (born December 4, 2006) is a Canadian student filmmaker from Quebec. He began his creative journey at Cégep de Sainte-Foy, where he made his first films alongside Léo Pierre Couturier. Exploring animation through rotoscoping, Xavier independently created "Café Wazoo" (2025) in his small apartment, followed by the crime drama "Clémentine" that same year. In 2026, he began production on his upcoming documentary "That Others May Live", exploring Canadian search-and-rescue operations through the 424 Transport and Rescue Squadron, based at CFB Trenton, Ontario.
